This is our chanterelle. Some call it the ‘cockscomb’, because of its funnel shape. Its colour is yellow, sometimes orange. Our chanterelle has a specific peppery flavour and smells like apricots. Really delicious! It can be prepared in many ways.
Chanterelles contain vitamins B, C, potassium and copper.
